How cute is this!

This lovely little face belongs to a native Bush Rat (Rattus fuscipes). They are nocturnal and often found in dense vegetation and along creek banks. Students from Griffith University have been doing fauna surveys along Slacks Creek, and have found these native bush rats at a number of sites. We are lucky to have them in Slacks Creek!

Don't forget to if you see wildlife, to report your sightings!
